Just finished up at AVSH ALOM GUR at the ON/OFF space and it was what I can only describe as 'super cool'- honestly 'cool' just oozed from everywhere we looked. Alongside the cocktails sat bottles of sip (which wasn't sitting for too long!) which stylishly aided the masses of the thirsty fash pack crowd.
Ill be uploading pictures soon as we were so impressed with how their floaty fabric, exquisite detail and colour gave the classic designs something special.
As I left the very cool ON/OFF space on the strand I unfashionably tripped down the stairs cursing my outfit choice as I fell... then a wonderfully clad gentleman called out "don't worry, that's fashion for you darling!" - amen!

Red red hot...
It's all about red this season...
Red & black clothes are big for A/W, red lippy is still totally IN, and now... red hair.
We love when a new trend emerges and have seen some pretty gorgeous red heads floating around. Florence from Florence and the Machine has been rocking hers for some time, and Cheryl Cole has dabbled in the gorgeous hue. Leighton Meester has a red warmth to her lovely chocolatey locks and Ashlee Simpson has been ahead of the trend for ages now. We also love pale beauty Lily Cole who has stayed true to her deliciously red locks.
From warm and rich to cool and subtle it looks like red is here to stay. Brunettes will find it can add a red tinge to your hair with a warmer brown whereas blondes can get a more vibrant red but should be a little more careful with this colour - red is difficult to remove but adding warmth is easy to achieve. It requires quite a lot of upkeep to maintain that vibrant red and we recommend going to a salon but if you do want to do a home job - read up on it first (there are plenty of sites to advise on dying your hair!) and most recommend a wash out colour first!
Here are some of our faves:
Florence Welch, H&M Model Karen Elson, Lily Cole, Ashlee Simpson and Rumer Willis

We've been Fashionably Late with Oasis!
a night of music, shopping, cupcakes, personal styling, a Sanctuary Spa manicure and a bottle of sip? - phew, could this be the most perfect way to shop? Well Oasis think so and we certaintly agree!
Every Thursday in August sip provided drinks for the ultimate shopping trip at Oasis Westfield.
I popped along to have a cupcake and manicure and spotted some great pieces I just had to have!

This graduated sequin dress is so 'now' but with a great 1920s feel, wear with some mega heels and minmal jewellery to let the dress do the talking!

Sequins are everywhere and here's a great way to dress up some skinny jeans and basic top, throw this on and you've got instant sparkle!

We saw these shoes in Grazia too - with a wow colour, caged style AND a wedge could this shoe be any more on trend?

We love what Katie Wears! (and what Joe writes)
If you've not heard of the super blog 'what katie wore' you must have been on another planet as their fabulous fashion blog has been everywhere from the pages of Grazia to my-wardrobe.com - and around the world too with fans everywhere from Germany to America.
In case you haven't seen it go check it out immediately (well after you've read this blog of course!) and go back everyday - its a veritable feast for the eyes tracking what Katie (the blog's star) wears every day for a year. The words are provided by her lovely boyfriend Joe who decided, upon Katie telling him he was about as romantic as valentines day at McDonalds, to write her the 'ultimate love letter' by taking photos of her once a day for a year in her amazing outfits and describing them. There were rules of course, she couldnt wear the same thing twice in a month and it had to be different every day - thats 365 days of Katie's glorious outfits. It's become more than just a cult - its an obsession with myself included making time to check it out every day.
I met Katie at University and even back then she was super stylish, mixing vintage with high street, wearing a skirt as a top and with a tights/accessories/shoe collection to die for! Plus that girl knows more ways to use a safety pin than anyone else I know.
We here at sip think Katie is inspiring - no longer can I wake up and throw on my skinnies and tee, I actually think about what im wearing, how can I add accessories to make it more exciting? Can I wear that boob tube as a skirt, how about I cut the feet out of these tights... and because we love Katie and Joe so much we think they deserve our 'sip chick (and in this instance 'guy' too) of the month.
Here are some of our favorite outfits from the past 7 months!
we love the big bow shoulder detail!
we love the tights - she made them into leggings and is rocking them with a gorgeous floaty skirt!
mismatch heaven! love all the accessories - esp those gloves and brilliant bag!
Well done guys! Keep it up... the world is watching! x

cocktails and a crepe - the perfect lunch for a day of fashion
I spent the day travelling around London yesterday with the lovely Miggy (uber blogger and founder of The Pout!)
First stop after a pretty horrific tube journey was the Warehouse Christmas Preview held at the swanky Mayfair members club Jalouse. Upon arrival Miggy and I receieved a lovely Belini and were able to peruse the collection.
Photographs of the collection were not allowed meaning we were very lucky to get to view the collection which featured some great fabrics and embellishments. Both Miggy and I were fans of the chains and chunky necklaces galore - channeling our inner rock chick!
The girls were getting busy preparing for Lovebox in which Warehouse will be setting up a pop up 'stylehunter' area so get down to their tent to get snapped in your lovebox festival gear.
I then had a crepe for lunch (to go with my champagne) and off we went laden with sip to Greek Street to visit Leap (www.leapanywhere.com) a great charity which is all about 'having a good time whilst doing good' - a perfect reason to get out into London have some fun. They make it really simple to sign up by letting you choose the kind of events you want to help out with - for instance I signed up to fashion so i'm already hearing about fashion events and shows where I can help out and do something good at the same time. Spot on.
Finally we went to the iheartstudios party with the lovely Emma from iheart - upon arrival I noticed Emma in the most fabulous dress, spotted here with said dress designer the lovely William Tempest and sipping a delicious sip!
With Pimms and sip (of course!) flowing and some local Indian cuisine all the party needed was some great music and almost on cue the dj started playing some great tunes. It was great to spend the day fully imersed in fashion and fun and topping it off with meeting some great new people.
Thanks to Sophie from Warehouse, Malcolm from Leap, Emma from i heart studios and of course the gorgeous Miggy for such a fun day.
Check out Miggy here in her customised Lee jeans - with more than a few nods of approval and screams of fashion joy let's just say most of London appreciated them!

Recently spotted this great video on People's website and then again on Topshop's blog... giving you a sneak peak behind the scenes of a fashion shoot as January Jones goes all high fashion for Elle's August edition. Shot by photographer Mariano Vivanco
"And if the clothes and makeup aren’t enough to feed your fashion fix, Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace also makes a cameo! It’s a fashion match made in heaven." (People, http://stylenews.peoplestylewatch.com)
